梁肇庭（1939-1987），1939年出生于马来西亚一个客家人家庭，1969年获哈佛大学博士学位。1974年至1984年间，任教于澳大利亚墨尔本大学历史系，1985年起在澳大利亚默多克大学从事研究工作，直至去世。早期研究重点是中苏关系史，后来逐渐转向社会史，并开始从事客家历史的研究，《中国历史上的移民与族群性：客家人彬民及其邻居》是其代表作。
